The Internet of Things: Connect Your Classroom to the Cloud

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this hands-on session we will show you how to be a “catalyst for change” by connecting your classroom to the cloud. We will show how your students can learn from and interact with your classroom once it becomes part of the Internet of Things (IoT). We will demonstrate how a $19 WiFi-enabled Particle Photon connects your classroom to the IoT. Students interact with your classroom using "If This Then That" (IFTTT). IFTTT allows students to create simple recipes which enable their interactions with services such as Gmail, Facebook, Instagram to result in actions in their classroom.
